Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

When Lee County, Texas was created in 1876, the Sand Fly area returned to Bastrop County, Texas. I have been told that if you are going to Bastrop on Texas Hwy 21 from Bryan, when you pass the Bastrop County line take the first road to the right and you will be in the Sand Fly area. Stop and ask someone there for directions to the Sand Fly Cemetery.
