Looking for information on the family of
Thomas W. Davis who was born in Alabama
on June 5, 1869 and died April 4, 1918
in Merle, Burleson County, Texas.
In 1910 Burleson County Texas Census shows
Thomas W. Davis 1863 (death certificate shows 1869)
Sallie
Elize
Emily
Thomas R.
Lela (Leila) Mae
Sallie
Lela/Leila Mae is my Grandmother and looking for
ancestors of hers.
Thomas' father is shown on the death certificate
as William Davis born in Ireland. Unable to find
any name or information about William Davis' wife.
At the time of death, Thomas was 48 years, 6 mo,
and 5 days old. Was a farmer. Thomas was laid
to rest in Sandy Cemetery on April 5, 1918.
The informant on the death certificate was a
Tom Lewis. I believe Thomas' daughter, Emily
was married to Tom Lewis.
Would appreciate any help on this family.
