I went to Brownwood and through the Geneology portion and did not fine anything. Then I went thru the courthouse and nothing there. I even went through the Court records to see if we could find out who filed charges of kidnapping against Willis Johnson, the man who helped her. Charges were filed on him for kidnapping but before he came to trial, he was shot and killed.
Even the 1890 census was burned in the fire. I did get a copy of her Death Certificate and place of birth and mothers name has "Unknown". i also have a copy of my grandmother and Lorenzo Thomas Ribble marriage certificate but nothing on it. seems like everything just stops.
Thanks for the help
Floyd
