Thank you for so much information. I have found the name spelled both ways which I find odd. His first wife is buried in Greenleaf and has the double "r" spelling. His own tombstone uses the single "r" spelling.
The other odd thing is that on William's death certificate it lists him as divorced but on Mary's it says "widow." I bet that would be a good story.
