What I found doesn't make a whole lot of sense but here it is and you can decipher it.
Per his death certificate (Texas Deaths 1890-1976)
Informant: Mrs. Mattie Roscoe
Born 19 May 1890 Tarrant Co, TX
father: Lucian Roscoe
mother: Katherine Lewis
he also had a brother:
Winfield S. Roscoe
born 31 Jan 1887 TX
d 22 Mar 1946 Dallas, Dallas Co., TX
Informant: Official Records of the VA (he had to fill out the paperwork so you would figure it would be accurate)
father: Lucien W. Roscoe b TX
mother: Catherine Lewis b Miss
burial: Arlington, TX
Now per the 1900 census:

If this Catherine/Katherine and she was married to Braughton for 14 years and only had 6 children and 6 still living - who do the Roscoe's belong to - or was she married to two different guys at the same time? or did she marry him and then die shortly after and he retained custody?
Not sure what all you have since you didn't say-
Walter and Pearl (Dean) were in Runnels Co in the 1910 J. Pct 3 - shortly after their marriage which took place 28 Nov 1909 in Runnels Co- could not locate them in 1920 but in 1930 they were in Brown Co with Claud; Norine and Layton.
