On the 1920 census mother of Thomas is living in his household. Mary Martin 74, b GA. Did you notice the Elijah E. Martin, wife Mary born GA on page on 1900 census page 131, and Thomas is on page 119??? Same district. On the 1910 census it shows it is a second marriage for Mary Martin.

Mary Martin filed a confederate widow's application from Brown Co, TX, husband Elijah Edwards Martin.

If this was my line, I think I'd pursue this Martin family some more.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
