I can only tell you-
Brown Co Marriages 1880-1920:

Kirby, Mrs. Mary J. - Staggs, T.N.
Dec 16, 1906 bk 6 p 173

I also tried to check on the Mauldin's they were living with in 1910 - only thing I could come up with is:

Mauldin, R. L. - Dunn, Blanche L
Dec 19, 1900 bk 4 p 296
That information doesn't exactly match the census but only one I could find - unless they weren't married in Brown Co/

PS - Thomas N. Staggs d 10 Apr 1913 Brown Co - Brownwood - buried at Zephyr informant was Newt N. [his son Newton N.] who died in 1949 also in Brown Co. - could not find a death listing for Mary either as Kirby or Staggs.

Betty
