Dear Kay
i was able to locate Aaron in 1880 under A.S. Aldridge and then was able to discover his wife, unmarried in 1870, as Sarah M. Dickerson, daughter of N.G. Dickerson and Nancy J., and thru census data was able to go all the way back to 1850 in Cherokee GA. There I found out that relatives in the area knew the family cemetery and the name of this couple were Nehemiah Garrison Dickerson and Nancy Jane Wheeler who married in 1847. Monty was listed as Sarah and as Montery sometimes.
Anyway, what concerns me is that I received a thrilled message from Karla Moreland when I found the censuses going back to 1850. After I found out her Nancy J.s maiden, I received no more messages and was wondering is she got into one of those texas bush fires or that tornado last week in the USA. I have no idea where she lives and it is odd for her not to respond as she always responds right away. I even wrote her an email at the address given.
