I have been searching for so long for this family, I don't think that I will ever find out what happened to them but I thought that I would give it a try on this board. Jeannie Kate Street married a Villepigue or any spelling. She is listed in the 1900 Brown Co. census as being a widow. She had 2 daughters, Olive(1897) and Sunshine (1894).
According to obits that I have of Jeannie's parents, they were survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Homer Griffin (Sunshine) of Dallas (can't find her in the cenus) and a granddaughter Olive who was "in school" at Brownwood.
I believe that Jeannie had died by 1910 so her daughter Olive was either in a private boarding school or was living with someone else when this obit was written in 1912 at the death of her grandfather.
I would be forever grateful for any cemetery or marriage lookup or any record of any kind for any of these family members.
I would like to find out who the girls father was and where he was from. Thank you for any help! Julie
