Hi Beth,
I got this information from the Brownwood Courthouse records and even though there is not official cemetery on Camp Bowie, these were accidents either in training etc. and most were sent to cemeteries but there are at least five I know of that were basically unclaimed (mainly from the East Coast) and listed as buried in the "Camp Bowie Hospital Cemetery" or Burial at "Camp Bowie Hospital"

I just wondered why they would put that on death certificates when they did list the other cemeteries by name in the community and out of state.

I try to get to Brownwood at least once or twice a month. I will look again maybe check newspaper accounts of the deaths if there were any.

Thanks for the information
Sharon
