Bill - what a find! Which newspaper is this from? This is an incredible story and I am absolutely thankful you found it. My elderly Alexander and Redden family members are quickly passing away, so I have to rush to verify information that is found on my ancestry. I have not heard much about my Redden g-g-grandfather, so reading this article is fantastic. Through you and all of the help you have given me, I am learning a lot about my Texas ancestry. We have a saying in our family, "The Texas line is strong and unbreakable", and this story fits... Thanks again for all of your help. Michelle
