It's a shame that these two men and other men and women of early Brazoria County History lay buried in unmarked graves in the heavily overgrown Wharton Family Cemetery also known as Eagle Island Cemetery here in Clute,Texas.
The cemetery is located across the Lake from the Wharton ladies grave-site located inside Restwood Memorial Cemetery.
Restwood Memorial Cemetery also owns the property that the Wharton cemetery is located on.
