Yes, in fact I have 2 or 3 photos of the Hancock House now. One of them is available for viewing on the Brazoria County Historical Society web site (I can't give you the web address offhand, but I could look it up for you if you want it). The others I got from the Barzoria County Historical Museum with newspaper clippings about the hotel or my great great grandfather, Rufus Hancock. Thanks for the information about the book, though. I'll try to track down a copy of it. It might also have information in it about my other great great grandfather, Lee Wells, who was Brazoria County surveyor for a time and owned a lumber business in Angleton.
