Thanks for the information, it is much appreciated. I have a copy of Thomas Asa and Lucy Viola ARMSTRONG's bible records which has their children listed....there is also a set of twins born after Etta on Sept. 17, 1872, one died the same day the other the next. My connection is through Lucy Viola's brother, Lewis J. and his wife Frances Nancy ALLGOOD. Their children are John Barnett, William Alvin, James C. A., Martha, Thomas Asa (my great grandfather), Lewis Alexander, Rosetta, and Ann. I have confusing information on James and Sarah's children I show a Thomas married to Lucy Ann WALKER, and a William C. married to Mary Ann SELLERS. My records then show James and a second marriage to Mary Polly HOLT, and their children William Clement who married Mary Ann McCassey, and another Thomas. Is this info correct? Was he married twice? If so which William do you descend from and which Thomas is Thomas Asa's father? I show James' parents as John ARMSTRONG b 1748 and Jane/Jean BAKER b 1769. Can you confirm if this is correct? Also would like to mention that Frances Adaline HARDWICK's father is James Garland HARDWICK (his grandfather is William Garland, son of Henrietta GARLAND) her mother's father was William Burwell Green IV. My records on the HARDWICK's and GREEN's do not reflect a Garland Burwell GREEN.
