As someone who goes out of her way to help a fellow researcher, I, too, took offense at your 'insensitive' posting.
First of all, look at your subject line. If you REALLY want help, post something like "need obit Charles Oneil Morgan, DeKalb resident." That MIGHT have gotten a response.
And if you don't know the name of a newspaper, just go to http://www.google.com and enter "newspaper DeKalb" or "newspaper Bowie County" or "newspaper Texarkana."
The more information you GIVE, the more information you are going to GET. And do a little 'leg work' yourself before expecting others to do it for you. Genealogy researchers are the kindest, most giving people I have come across in my 1 years of researching but people like you are really a turn-off.
P.S. I don't like George Bush either!
