I found a lot of info from the 1900-1930 census that might help. The 1900 census list Lem (Thomas Lemuel) born 1877(which also matches birth year in draft registration) with his parents J T and S E McGee and siblings. Also found the draft registration for Thomas Lemuel and the Texas birth record for Lemuel Clyde.
