Hello Mr. Taylor,
I am calvin Little, who lives in North Carolina since I moved in 1965 from Houston Texas. I had ancestors who lived in Bowie County about the turn of the Century in 1900.
I just saw the exchange between you and others about the "obit" of your uncle. I am sorry that you had trouble getting it, and maybe if you will try getting an obit on the inter-net, it will be much simpler for you and everyone else. All you have to do is connect to the News Paper in Bowie County, or where-ever the funeral takes place, you can eliminate a lot of stress. We have relatives in Abilene, Houston, Ft. Worth, Austin and other places in Texas. When we hear about a death in the family, if we want an obit, we will connect to the Reporter-News, the Star Telegram, Austin Statesman,or the Houston Chronicle, and get the death notice out of the paper ourselves.
Now, please understand that I'm not criticizing you, but trying to help you to help yourself. Again, I'm sorry for your grief.
Calvin Little
