I am not related to the Hudsons. We lived at Brazos Point from 1977-1980 and our farm joined the Hudsons' place. Rose and Juice were both living at the time. He was a WWI veteran, and a bit older than Rosie, who was a Mears (we owned the old Mears place). They were delightful folks. Lived very primitive. No inside plumbing or running water even at that time. They had just gotten a telephone in 1977. I'm pretty sure Rosie is deceased now, too. Her niece, Glenna Bicknell, did live in Cleburne (Johnson County), TX. Lots of Mearses in Cleburne. Hope this helps.
