Coque,
I live in Ft. Worth and I have visited Spivey's Crossing. As much as I can find out, it was where a Spivey once lived and there is where a crossing in the river was made. Actually the Spivey place was just over the river from Bosque Co. in Hill Co. There is Spiveys all over this part of Texas and also East Texas. We would probably all be related if we could go back far enough in the family tree.
