Arringtons of Bosque County
Posted by: Jim Culver Date: February 03, 2000 at 10:24:36

I am researching the Arrington family of Bosque County, TX. My oldest known relative was Marion Hampton Arrington (1846-bef 1938).

Alfred was bron in Alabama and his wife Emily Jane Doyle was born in Georgia in 1847. They were married in 1867 in Rome, GA.

Their daughter Julia J. Arrington (1870-1901) was my great grandmother. She married Charles Lewis Adkison (1866-1943)in Bosque County in 1889.

I am looking for anyone with an interest in this family or who could help connect Alfred Marion Arrington to his roots in Alabama or Georgia.

I would also like to connect Emily Jane Doyle to here family in Georgia. Her father could have been John C. Doyle of Rome, GA, who married Lusendia Luter.

If you have any information, please contact me.
