I have very little info on my James who was in Bosque Co and don't know if he is related to yours. My gggrandfather, Alfred A. James took a patent in August of 1863 in Bosque Co. TX. They sold it in 1865. I have a copy of the patent and the conveyance out but they are not here with me now. His wife's name was Louise M."Lonny" JAMES. I don't know what happened to him. The next time I find her is in the 1880 census of Clay Co. TX. with her kids. Their children's names were Benjamin Thompson James, Mary Alice James, Nancy Jane James, Lucinda E. James,(my ggrandmother), and G. T. James, Olivia James and Hubbard James.

There were other James families located in nearby Johnson Co. who were connected with Ezells. I found them on one of the FTM cd's once when I was looking for my James. If you don't have access to them and are interested, I'll be glad to look it up for you.

Also I have a couple of James Confederate Pensions Records that I ordered but were not my James.
