Mary Parker and G. T. Ward, married in Bosque Co. on July 10, 1875.

On the 1880 Census of Bosque Co., there is a household consisting of G.T.W. Ward (20), wife Mary (20) & child Walter (1). They are living next door to John Ward (52, AL/GA/GA), Kizia (wife,46,AL/GA/GA), Wm Ward (19,nephew, AR/AL/AL) & Thomas Green (20, nephew, AR/AL/AL). I believe that John and Kizia Ward are George's parents.

I have also found George T. W. ward in Bosque Co in 1900 (I've only seen the soundex file, then the library closed!)
George T. W. Ward b. 9/1856 in AR
Mary b. 11/1859 in MS
George A. b. 6/1886 in TX
John M. b. 8/1889 in TX
Oliver b. 9/1895 in TX
Brettie (?) b. 8/1897 in TX (daughter)
Lela B. White b. 4/1884 in TX (daughter)
Mary B. White b. 2/1899 in TX (granddaughter)
John Anderson b. 6/1882 in MS (can't make out on the soundex card what his relationship was)

I don't know anything about "Mr. White" who obviously married Lela Ward, and had the child Mary B. White. We have a copy of an old photo that is identified as Minnie White, who we suspect is the same person as Mary White, but aren't sure. I have found a birth record that a Mary Bell White and James K. Dennis had Emily Jane Dennis in Hill Co. in Oct. 1929, but I don't know if this is the same person.

If this rings any bells for anyone, I'd appreciate hearing back from you. Please post to the forum, and write me directly.

Thanks, Barbara
