I just looked at your web site Billie and have to say "You have been busy," It is one of the most complete genealogical sites I have visited. I do have a couple of comments to add. The way I read the facts on John Baker indicate that he was killed at the Alamo which is incorrect. Actually he is buried in the Harris Chapel cemetery about half way between Belmont and Luling. My ancestor was Jo Maria Davis who married Stephen Alexander Mitchell, brother of Thomas L. Mitchell who married Ann Davis. The Mitchells, Davises, and some more of the clan moved to far West Texas in the 1890s and Stephen and Jo Maria are buried in the Pioneer Cemetery at Pecos, Reeves county.
