I am searching for information on William R. CAMP son of John Lafayette CAMP Sr for whom Camp Co Tx was named.
This William R. CAMP was born abt 1853 in Al or Tx and 1m Eula [NUNNELEE] abt 1876 Upshur Co Tx 2m Euola/Eula [BASS] abt 1894 in Tx. William's 2nd wife is believed to have been the niece of his 1st wife but not proven as of 25 Jun 2001
According to the 1920 Bexar Co Tx census, William had a son Walter Nunnelee Camp b abt 1882 Tx by his 1m and sons John F. Camp b abt 1895 Tx and William R. Camp, Jr b abt 1907 Tx, and possibly Patric W. Camp b abt 1908 Tx by his 2m. William R. Camp Sr was a prominent lawyer in San Antonio: my interest is in his descendants.
Eula [Nunnelee] Camp may have been daughter of James Nunnelee and Susan A. [Baggett] shown as "Eliza age 3" on the 1860 Macon Co Al census. I need to SEE a copy of the ****original handwritten census to determine yes or no.****
Please, does anyone have access to this census and able to email, scan, or snailmail a copy of this household to me?
This Household is on Pg 846 Dw 249 Fam 255.
Euola/Eula [Bass] Camp b abt 1874 Al was the daughter of Matthew Belton Bass and Susan "Vannie" [Nunnelee] also a daughter of James Nunnelee and Susan A. [Baggett]. This James Nunnelee was the brother of my great-grandfather Eugene L. Nunnelee. His wife was dtr of Andrew Baggett & Rebecca [Osborne] from Chambers County, Alabama.
Any help with marriage dates, birthdates, death dates, burial locations, names of children and spouses, copies of census records and other basic genealogical statistics will be gratefully accepted!!!! Kathye [Payne] Upham, Red River Co Tx, firstname.lastname@example.org
