1878 ATASCOSA COMMUNITY, BEXAR, CO.

An ancestor of mine was born in a wagon camp in July 1878 in "Atascosa." While some of the family moved on to Tom Green Co., TX later that year, others remained in San Antonio. I originally thought that she was born in Atascosa County, but now I think she may have actually been born in a small community called Atascosa, in Bexar Co., TX instead. Can anyone tell me if this community still exists and, if so, how to get there? (I-35 S. from Austin, but then what?) I appreciate any information I can get. Thanks,
