Just to give you something to work with -- Jeremiah Goins (abt 1802 - July 22, 1883), son of Phillip and ggrandson of Steven Goins. Jeremiah Goins married Sarafina Drake - Children: Henry, Ranson, Evaline, Caroline, Seaborn, Robert, James, Ruben, Adaline, Emily and Jeremiah Jr. Jeremiah is buried at Oakley Cemetery south of San Antonio at Hardy Road and 281. More Goins buried at Laflin Cemetery -- Alex, Grady County, OK. Jeremiah dates to Texas Revolution and Seaborn was last civilized Indian Killed in Texas by wild Indians around San Saba. We're talking Texas revolution. They were Choctaw Indians but not registered. For more information on this side of the family, contact Captain Dan Gabehart, Bexar County Sheriff Department.
