Barfield family, middle 1800s
Posted by: Richard Culbertson Date: December 22, 1999 at 08:56:14
  of 1116

I descend from James Hayes Barfield, sheriff, Yalobusha County, Mississippi, who settled in 1841 in Leon County, Texas.
One son died early and was in San Antonio,
Bexar County, Texar ca. 1860, and Bexar County deed records mention several children. Need information on this family.
I descend from another son, Isham Carroll Barfield, who had sixteen children, of Karnes and Live Oak counties, Texas.
