I will be happy to look up those obits for you. It will probably be a couple of weeks before I get to the S.A. Library again.
I doubt that the obit will give her parents names, very rarely does it list parents only siblings and children.
You can get a copy of the death cert. though from the Bureau of Vital Statistics, Texas Dept. of Health, P.O. Box 12040, Austin, TX 78711. I believe it is $9.00 for each certificate and you need to state your relationship to the deceased and send a copy of a photo i.d.(driver's license or passport) Their telephone # is 512-458-7111. or the website is www.state.tx.us
It takes about a month to get but it will usually tell you the parents names,date of birth, date and cause of death,burial city,name of informant(usually a relative) and sometimes the birthplace of the parents.
