Hi again,

I took another look at Fred Figner's ship manifest ('Saale') for May 16, 1893, arriving in NYC (from Bremen). It is stated that he is (already) a citizen of the USA. So presumably, the date he would later use for his Naturalization (May 26, 1893) is incorrect.

Perhaps then the naturalization date he once gave (on his 1902 PassApplic) as Aug 10, 1891 is actually the correct one.

Do any Naturalization records (say 1891-1893) still exist at the Bexar County Courthouse? It would be nice to know which is the right date for him. Can this be looked up, even on location? Does anyone do this sort of thing?

Thanks again.

Allen
