I will have to check if I have that exact census record. Either way, thank you for posting it. Maybe others will be helped buy it. Yes Texas didn't have official death certificates or birth certificates until after 1900.

From what I can tell, Jesse H. Coleman Sr must have died after 1880. He shows up on the 1880 Census in Johnson Co TX.
He is listed with his wife Elizabeth and a 13 yr old Wheeler child. So far I've found where Jesse Jr and his wife,Missouri are buried but not where his parents are buried. I would think they would be buried in Central Tx.

Wm Henry Coleman (my line) moved to Wilbarger TX. I plan to see if possible his parents moved there. I know there are several Coleman's in that cemetery. They have a family plot there.

If I find them, I will post a message. I'm just excited to finally find his parents and siblings.
