William Armstrong was living in Bee County by 1868 and remained there until he moved to Frio County during 1882. William owned a large ranch south of Beeville. He was born in Ohio circa 1823. William served during the Mexican War. He was also a Captain in Company E, 2nd Battalion Calvary of the Texas State Troops during the Civil War. His children were Samuel, Thomas, William, George, Teresa and James. What I really need is any available information about his parents. Any help or suggestons will be greatly appreciated.
