Does your TOOMEY family have any connections to the HAMILTON family? If so, you may want to check out a John Toomey who married Ella Hamilton in Tennessee. She was born March 1888 to Jasper Newton Hamilton and Mary Jane Payne. Their info is mainly from around Monroe County Tennessee. My Hamiltons came from there and Ella was my Dad's kin. She and my Grandpa, J. Ben Hamilton were brother and sister. Grandpa and his family moved back and forth from Tennessee and Texas. Good luck. Hope you find your kin.
