Is anybody reading this related to or have information about JOHN V. ELLIS (b. abt. 1835 in Kentucky), who lived in Bee County, Texas from at least 1880 through 1910? According to census records is wife was Drusilla A. and children were Earl C., Ralph V., Ethel M., Wayman, Cyrus C., and Marvin.
I'm trying to find out if John V. Ellis was the brother or other relative of my husband's gr-grandmother Susan J. Ellis Shumate. Susan J. Ellis was born about 1841 in Muhlenberg or McLean County area of Kentucky.
Does anybody know of John V. Ellis' middle name was Vickers?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
