I am looking for info on James Bradford Sowell. I believe he lived in Bastrop County. He had a daughter named Mary "Figgers" Sowell she married a George Rice Mobley. I have quite a bit of Mobley info.and would be glad to share. My grandmother told me that James was stabbed to death trying to break up a fight between some young men. This would have probably been around the early mid 1800's.
