Our annual RIMMER REUNION will be Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Person County, NC. Fellowship precedes and follows a delicious catered meal. Bring & share your family photo albums, family tree CDs, binders, books, Rimmer cookbooks and Coats of Arms. Special "Exploring Rimmer Country" events are planned all day Friday, and Sunday a.m. This year we're at Berrys Grove Baptist Church 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Catered meal 12:30. Short business meeting. Then a program "Origins of Our Ancient Rimmer Surname" co-presented by UK's Rimmer History Society founder Gladys R. Armstrong and NC's Ray M. Rimmer. Hosted by descendants of James & Phoebe Rimmer of Bushy Fork, NC. Wheelers Primitive Baptist Church is nearby, where we erected in 2013 our memorial to "the 23" in our first two known generations, from late 1700s. Cousins relating since 1700s attend -- from across USA, Canada, UK. Maybe half of USA Rimmers descend from James & Phoebe -- tens of thousands, and most TX Rimmers. Pre-registration and meal payment required. Kindly email Ray, who will send schedule, accommodations info, and registration.
