I guess you could say I have two goals: 1. is find where George Dallas Perkins is buried and 2. outside of the census find one document that would be positive proof that George Dallas was the son of Berry Wright. I am not counting the census.
I did find the actual burial plot of Laney Perkins. It has always been assumed she was buried in Guadulupe Co. Nope, she is buried in her daughter Mary's family plot in Austin TX.
I certainly wish William Perkins Nash III was still alive. After reading his book via microfilm from the LDS library I have more questions. I wish I could find someone who has a copy of that book that would make a copy for me. I have had no luck in contacting anyone from the Nash/Perkins line.
I have found from my Perkins line my great uncle Henry Wright Perkins' (son of George D)grandson in Mississippi.
He is going to dig thru the truck that has some family documents.
Why is Berry Wright Perkins not found in the 1840 census? He was about 25 at the time? Any ideas?
thanks for all your kind help
