Message for Dennis Rhodes-Thank you for your reply. I did check the 1900 Bastrop County, Texas Census for Amos & Mattie Liles. Also listed next is a Wesley Rhodes and Dona/Dana Rhodes. I did not know about Dana Liles as one of the younger daughters of Amos and Martha A (Brazil) Liles. I have a very incomplete list of their children.
Elizabeth C liles born 1867
James R. "J R" LIles born 1869 Died 5/31/1894 *
Annie L Liles Born 1875
Beulah Doris Liles Born 1886 Died 1/31/1951 (m. D. Hibbs)
Mattie LIles Born 1889
*(J. R. Married Janie Menefee)
I do have some census information for 1870, 1880, 1900, & 1910 for Amos Liles.
I also have some census information on James Liles/Lyle & Elizabeth Liles for 1850 & 1860. (James Liles may be Amos' father) Note above that Amos named his first dau- Elizabeth and His first son James R.)I don't have any info on Dana/Dona/Viola/or Velma (LIles) Rhodes. I would be interested in other families connected to the Liles family, and the parents of Amos Liles if you have it.
