Looking for information on my g-grandmother, Mariah Louisa STANLEY MOORE that married James W. COOK on June 19, 1879 in Bastrop County Tx. James W. COOK possibly went by a nickname, Tobin COOK. Mariah's mother was Lurana STANLEY RANSOM that married Rueben RANSOM about 1865 in Burleson County after Mariah's father, Elias STANLEY died in 1853 in Travis County. Mariah had living with her on the 1880 census for Bastrop County: Ellen J. MOORE age 14, Clarinda A. MOORE age 11, and a grandson, Nathan M. MOORE. Mariah's other children were: Ava MOORE HICKEY b, 1855 TX, Levi MOORE b, 1860 TX, Wm. Bomar MOORE b, 1858 TX., Maria L. MOORE b, 1863 TX., L.C. MOORE (F) b, 1853 TX., Elias James MOORE b, 1848 MS., and John T. MOORE b, 1851 TX.
Anyone having a connection to or information on any of the above people please contact me.
Thank you,
Lavern Moore-Osburn
