Does anyone have any info on this James Grimes and what or where his family went to ??
I ahve a James Grimes that m Sarah Winders in Duplin Co., NC 1777, we believe that he had a son James but do not know what happen to this James, b between 1790/1810, not sure ?
the names pattern of this James Grimes is close to the other sons (or gsons) of James that went to Ga, than, Al than some went on to TX.
What really caught my eye on this is that my line of Stephen Grimes son of James & Sarsh , had a Gson named Haywood Pinkney Grimes that died in Waco area after 1900.
Thank you all for any help given.
