Am researching the CARDELL family of Texas. Does anyone know or research the family listed on the 1880 census, Bandera Co. Wm. Cardell, age 27, Jane Cardell age 23 John age 8 James age 6 Caleb age 3. A cousin, age 23, Thomas was living in the household. This cousin is the right age to be my Henry Thomas CARDELL.
My ancestor Henry Thomas Cardell, b. 1857 married Mary Dorena Hamby. The Hamby's lived in the Austin area, and the Cardell's moved on to San Saba and Waco Texas,and Stomewall County (Peacock.Henry died at Richland Springs, Tx. about 1894-1895.
