Looking for info about John C Pierce, of Honeycreek, Bandera,TX. John and wife Nancy Hitchcock had 11 children, ten were born in Bandera County.

he is supposed to be buried in Honey Creek Cemetery across from where the old school was once located.

John PIERCE and several other families moved to Honey Creek to cut cedar logs for telephone poles. they were going to strike it rich because telephone poles had climbed to 25 cents for each pole.

do you have any relatives who moved here for similar reasons.???
