By now you may have found what you wanted. You can view headstone for George Robert Calligan and his photo, too, on Find a Grave. Plus some info on his family.

1920 census Peoria Co, IL:

Calligan, Samuel P., h, 35, md, b IL, US, PA
" Parl, wf 30, md, b IL, PA, PA
" Ralph E., s, 12, b IL
" Alice E., d, 11, b IL
" Franklin E., s, 7, b IL
" George R., s, 4 3/12, b IL *******

On the 1900 census Samuel is at home, parents Frank J. and Alice. (Frank shows up on earlier census records J.F., Frank and John F.)

1880 census J.F. is at home with parents D.G. and E.E.

1870 census Frank at home with parents David J.[sic] and Elizabeth.

1860 census John F. at home with David and Elizabeth.

Frank's father is born in Maine and mother in Vermont. By looking at the various census records you can pick up names of other children in these households.

David becomes the owner of a boot and shoe store and shows good value for property and merchandise on 1870 census.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
