Found some information on Wm T. on the Austin Co, TX GenWeb. He was in the Civil War. Went to the Civil War site, William T. Bradford, Confederate, 31st Reg, GA, Inf. You can learn more about the 31st at that site, also.

Bradford, Eliza - applied in Bastrop Co, TX - husband William Thomas Bradford.
You'll want the pension records, especially the widow's. Often they have to prove they were married to the veteran etc.
