ARANSAS PASS land sales - 1909

I am trying to find information about some land that was purchased by my husband's great-grandfather. Charles H. Young moved from Oklahoma to Texas sometime before 1910, because he had bought some land sight-unseen at Aransas Pass, probably during the big land sale in 1909. Does anyone know where I might find records of this? The story is that when he got there to Aransas Pass, the land he bought was underwater.
