You are surrounded by Turner cousins === James and Ruby live in Willis, Lisa and husband live close to Orange. Her mom lives in Orange and Barbara, who descends from yours and my Uncle Will Turner through his son Cecil Wayne lives in Louisiana not far from Jasper TX. Cecil Wayne was an only child and hated it and told my mother he wanted a large family when he grew up. He had 8 children! All are liviing but one. Aunt Mae's son lives in Conroe.

A little histroy here is that our earliest Turner was Samuel Turner who came to Texas in September 1837, married Emily Midkiff, who had been in Texas since the 1820's. They had 7 children. Through Lisa's work and other's we have made contact with 5 of those children.

We moved to Altair in 2003, I have been married almost 55 years, have 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters. I have been doing family research a little over 20 years and love the history of it.

I have one photo of Aunt Ola and Uncle Jim Long. Also one of Marvin and Sadie at the Pool Cemetey Homecoming

I can scan those and email them to you if you would like.
