Hello Loudene,

Emily was born 1817 in Tennessee == probably Grainger Co.

Her parents were Isaac Preston Midkiff and Susannah Howell Midkiff.

Isaac Preston is buried in Smackover Creek Arkansas and Susannah Howell Midkiff is buried at Bedias Texas.

Emily died May 1860 and we have been unable to find where she is buried. She was in Trinity County TX according to the mortality schedule of 1860.

Someone said Samuel Turner (Emily's husband) died 1862 in the Civil War during the yellow fever outbreak in Sabine, TX ...... I have not found this record.

I know this is MUCH more than you asked for, but thought it might help in learning more on Emily.
