I am a descendent of "Gobbler Jones on my mother's side. Her mother (my grandmother) was an offspring of a union between William Lamar Collins and Eliza C. Jones, (who was a grand daughter of "Gobbler") My grandmother's name was Fanny Ellen "Ellie" Collins, she married Thomas Edward Henderson. Mr. Henderson was injured when he was felling a tree. It struck him and he took blood poisoning and died. Ellie then married my grand father Augutus Grant Courmier. They had 5 or 6 children. My mother was an Identical twin and is the sole living child from that union. I have managed to get some things about my grand parents including the fact that one of our ancestors was the first sheriff of angelina county and his dad was the first settler in angelina after it became a county. If you have any more you'd like to share please e mail me. Thanx, Rene
