H.A.Brown is Hugh Brown. He married Catherine Blackburn. They had 8 children: Sarah, James, Erma, Maggie, Benjamin, Ella, Hugh and Birdie. There is also and H. L. Brown listed in Texas Cattle Marks and Brands for Angelina Co. 1846-1865. There was during the War Between the States a Hiram Brown. Hi was a Capt. who recruited a Co, in 1862 at Homer. As you can see a lot of H. Browns were in Angelina Co. Good Luck. Karen
