I would like to know what happened to the members of this family, who lived in Parkerville, Anderson County, Texas, in 1850 and 1860.
I have information on Nancy Jane, Lee, and Martha Thomas Knight. The others disappear from the census records after 1860:
Zachariah Thomas Knight, 1809-, born Georgia;
Sarah J. Knight, 1815-, born Alabama or Georgia;
Calvin Ford "Gus" Knight, 1837-, AL, m. Susanna P. Wallace, may have died in Civil War;
Susannah M. Knight, 1838-, AL;
Louisa C Knight, 1839-, AL, m Alex S. Stewart?;
Luther A. Knight, 1841-, AL;
William A. Knight, 1843-, AL;
Mary A. "Polly" Knight, 1845-, AL;
Henry J. Knight, 1848-, MS;
Nancy Jane Knight, 1850-1929, TX, m Thomas J. Potter;
Lee Knight, 1852-1902, TX, m Jordan Barnett Lively;
Martha Thomas Knight, 1856-1945, TX, m Thomas Culverwell.

Was this William A. Knight the same one who was later a jailor in Rusk County, TX?
