I need some help from Anderson County Texas historians.
One of my collateral lines is John R. Brown & his wife Elizabeth Pigford.
In 1850 they were in Anderson County, Texas.
1850 CENSUS: Anderson County, Texas; Roll M432_908; Image: 22, Page 15B, Line 12, Household 101/101; John R. BROWN, male, farmer, age 35, born in GA; Elizabeth BROWN, female, age 28, born in GA; Adelaide BROWN, female, age 7, born in MS; Martha J. BROWN, female, age 12, born in MS; Thomas P. BROWN, male, age 5, born in MS; Timothy BROWN, male, age 3, born in MS and Catherine BROWN, female, age 1, born in MS.
The following story has been passed down in our family lines.
John BROWN married a Miss PIGFORD:
John died at the age of 36. He and his wife died within a day or two of each other and were buried in same graveyard. [They] left six small children. The Mother's people took four of them and their Uncle Epps Brown took [the] two oldest.
In 1860 their 6 children were scattered among relatives or married.

Martha Brown md Andrew S. Bradley and just 2 days ago I found Adelaide Brown. Her full name is Nancy Adelaide Brown and she married 1st Asa Boswell and 2nd James Franklin Boswell.
Now I would like to know what happened to their parents in Anderson County Texas between 1852-1860.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
